WASHINGTON (United States of America), May 22, 2024 – Representatives of the chambers of commerce from the Western Balkans signed a Memorandum on strengthening transatlantic cooperation in the field of tourism between the countries of the Western Balkans and the United States of America.
The Memorandum aims to strengthen mutual cooperation between tourist operators from the countries of the Western Balkans and the United States of America, as well as the promotion of the unique tourist market of the region in the United States of America.
The document was signed by representatives of the chambers of commerce of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia and Kosovo at an official ceremony in the US Congress.
The Memorandum was signed within the framework of the two-day conference “Southeast Europe Transatlantic Economic Forum” which was held in Washington in the organization of the Transatlantic Leadership Network, the Europe Center of the Atlantic Council and the Institute for Politics and Economy of Southeast Europe from Belgrade.
