The Institute for Politics and Economy of Southeast Europe and the Transatlantic Leadership Network signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

Washington, D.C. (US), May 22, 2024 – The Institute for Politics and Economy of Southeast Europe from Belgrade (IPESE) and the Transatlantic Leadership Network from Washington (TLN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in supporting the strengthening of international relations, economic development and investment climate, innovation, rule of law and particularly further improving the transatlantic relations.

The Memorandum was signed at the US Congress on the sidelines of the two-day Southeast Europe Transatlantic Economic Forum, organized by the TLN and the Atlantic Council, and was signed by Dušan Žarković, Executive Director of IPESE, and Ambassador Ret. John Craig, TLN Senior Fellow.

“Together with our American partners, we wish to work on developing of a free and democratic society and raising of the democratic capacities in Serbia and the region, to achieve lasting peace and stability for the Western Balkans,” Žarković said on this occasion.

The document focuses on enabling faster Euro-Atlantic integration that are of vital importance for the stability and economic growth for the Southeast Europe.
